Google E-A-T
E-A-T is a part of Google’s algorithm and baked into Google’s Search Quality Evaluator Guidelines. It uses 3 factors for evaluating the value of a site: Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness.
In 2014, Google added the concept in their Search Quality Guidelines which is knows as E-A-T.
This is important for websites that publish YMYL (your money, your life) content.
According to Google: “ GOOGLE have very high Page Quality rating standards for YMYL pages because low-quality YMYL pages could negatively impact a person’s happiness, health, financial stability, or safety.
