Heading Tags

Heading tags are tags used in the <h1> to <h6> range of headings on a webpage. Headings are also great for SEO, because they are one of the best ways to structure your content so search engines can understand it. Heading tags are defined in HTML as follows:

<h1>Heading 1</h1>

<h2>Heading 2</h2>

<h3>Heading 3</h3>

<h4>Heading 4</h4>

<h5>Heading 5</h5>

<h6>Heading 6</h6>

A header section should be placed as high on the page as possible to maximize its visibility. The best place to place your header section is at the top of your site or blog post so that it will be seen by all visitors who visit your site or blog post.
