Thin Content
Thin content refers to web pages that offer little or no value to internet users. This often includes pages with a low word count, duplicated content, or poor-quality material.
Here are some practices to adopt in the case of thin content:
- Remove the page;
- Set the robots meta tag to ‘noindex‘ to prevent search engines from indexing the page;
- Update the page with more relevant and substantial content;
- If appropriate, redirect the page using a 301 HTTP status code.
